A Vibrant Fun Fold Card

I feel like I am getting braver with distress inks and it is starting to show, I love the vibrancy of this card.

It feels really summery to me and reminds me of a red hot sunset and marigolds. Not sure why the marigolds maybe it is the orangey red.

I finally got to use my Made to Surprise Funky Flowers Stamp set and I have to be honest and say that I am really impressed. I just love the big daisy.

The way I cut the card base means that it gives you 2 card bases from one piece of A4, so the added bonus of being able to make 2 cards at once if you wish.

A full video is available on my you tube channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

What I used

1 Piece of  Hunkydory Adorable Scoreable A4 card stock in light green
1 A4 Piece of White Card Stock
Made to Surprise Funky Flowers Stamp Set
Blending Tool
Masking Sheet
Sizzix Framelits
Sizzix Big Shot
Stamping Press
Spectrum Noir Tri-blend Markers
Double Sided Tape
Foam Squares
Distress Ink in Fossilised Amber, Abandoned coral, Dried Marigold and Festive Berries

Cut a piece of white card to 3 3/4 inch by 5 1/4 inch

Using the blending tool, blend fossilised amber distress ink onto the card stock

From the other end blend abandoned coral distress ink to about the half way point

Using the large daisy from the made to surprise stamp set, make a stamp mask (Read my tutorial on masking stamps here). Then stamp the daisy in festive berries into the middle of the card stock.

Mask this image and stamp again, slightly over lapping.

Continue this process until your paper is full

Cut this diagonally corner to Corner

Cut a piece of A4 Card Stock to 11 inch

Score at 5 1/2 inch on the long side

Turn the card and score at 4 1/8 inch

Cut the card stock on the reverse side, corner to corner. This will give you 2 identical card bases.See picture below

Fold and burnish the score lines

Stick the stamped paper on using double sided tape

Die cut a piece of white using a framelits die. Blend this using dried marigold and festive berries distress ink and give a quick spray with water

Stick this to one half of the card with double sided tape

Stamp the bunch of flowers and the bow using the masking technique. Colour and fussy cut out. Attach with foam squares
