Cupcake Inspiration Challenge - Cream, Pink and Black

So I have quietly been sat on the sidelines watching the Cupcake Inspirations Challenges and have decided to bite the bullet and submit an entry. 

The challenges run bi-weekly and the current theme is pink, white and black.

The card does not need to be cupcake related but as this is my first time entering it felt fitting.

What I used

1 A6 Card Base in Cream

1 Piece of Black Card

1 Piece of Pink Card

Double Sided Tape

Modge Pod Glue

Sizzix Cupcake Fold It Die Set

Sizzix Big Shot

Sizzix Spring Phases Sentiment Stamps

Stamp Press

Ink Pad in Pink Ombre

Hot Glue Gun

2 Wooden Heart Embellishments 

Corner Rounder Punch

Instructions

Using a cream A6 card base secure the fold along base die so that half is over the fold.

Run this through the Die cutting machine, frosting first, but only go half way through the machine. You do not want to cut out the entire image. Fold and burnish the side panels. See picture below

Using your pink card stock, die cut another card base

And secure onto the cream card base, see picture below. For this I used Modge Pod

Using a small piece of black card I die cut the bun case

And inked over the top using a pigmented Ink pad and a metal die as a stencil. Do nor be afraid to experiment!

This was secured with double sided tape. I cut a few small circles and glued these onto the frosting

Cut a piece of pink card 5 1/4 inch by 1 1/4 inch and a piece of cream measuring 4 inch by 1 inch. Round the corners and I glue together. I then stamped the sentiment using pink ombre ink

This was secured to the cream cardbase and 2 wooden heart embellishments were glue on using hot glue
