I have had this gorgeous cloud paper for a little while now and feel this has given it the justice it deserves. It was a free download paper and Mr Printables Mr Printables Website is well worth a look, there are a lot of lovely prints.

What I used
A4 double Sided Cardstock in Blue
Scoreboard
Paper Trimmer
Pink Paper
Cloud Paper which was a free download from Mr Printables
Daisy Mae Design Hot Air Ballon Stamp
Black Ink Pad
Spectrum Noir Tri-blend Alcohol Markers
Double Sided Tape
Foam Squares.
Small Piece of Blue Paper
Instructions
Score and fold a sheet of A4 Blue Card into a Tri-Fold. For this I used the crafters companion scoreboard which is set to certain folds, however this can be achieved with any scoreboard. To make a tri fold on a sheet of A4 score at 99mm and 198mm.
From the top right corner of the first score line, score the card diagonally to the bottom right corner
Rotate the paper and do the same on the other side and burnish
Cut the piece of cloud paper to 3.5 inch by 7.5 inch. Then cut this diagonally from top corner to bottom
Do the same with the pink paper
Stick.the cloud paper to the outside triangles
I stamped the Daisy Mae Hot Air Ballon and coloured it with Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers. I cut this out by hand leaving a small white border visible. On a small piece of blue paper I stamped the sentiment from the stamp.set. 'Flying by to say hi' this was stuck onto the top pink triangle with double sided tape. The hot air ballon was attached using foam squares.

Thank you
DeleteThank you for this, I think I might have to try a fancy fold, always been a little nervous, but you made it look easy. 😊
ReplyDeleteIt really is easy and so so effective
DeleteWow this is a really impressive card and doesn't look super easy to make
ReplyDeleteThank you, it is really easy. If you watch the video there is a little hack for getting a diagonal line on your scoreboard. It revolutionised my diagonal scoring ability
