Butterfly and Bee

This is another of my bargain stamps. Craftstash have a sister site called craft world which is full of expert advise and inspiration. Every Saturday they have a Super Six which is a six offers that run for craftworld members. This stamp was one of the super six last week and I only had to pay postage and packaging which was £2.49. If you are interested in joining craftworld it is free and available here

I came across a great website Kit and Clowder that offers a number of free tutorials on alcohol marker techniques and so I have been practising blending 2 different colours together.

A full video is available.on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

This has been entered into the Lil patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #134 Anything Goes

Supplies Used

1 Piece A4 White Card
White card for Stamping
Daisy Mae Design Butterfly and Bee Stamp Set
Spectrum Noir Finesse Ink Pad in Black
Spectrum Noir Tri-blend Markers
Distress Ink in Fossilized Amber and Mustard Seed
Blending tool
Glue

Instructions

I stamped and coloured the butterfly and bee stamp, busy cutting these out

I cut the white card base to 8 Inch by 7 Inch

I had laminated some papers earlier and so saved the cut off strip I had left to use as a stencil. It is literally just a strip of laminating pouch. I blended mustard seed and Fossilized amber over the top of the card

I stamped the sentiment butterfly kisses in the top right corner

The bee was glued to the top left

The butterfly was then glued on
