I wanted to create a background that complimented the flower colours but which did not deter your view point from the stamped image as I wanted that to remain the focal point.
I therefore decided to create my own background paper.
What I used
1 Piece A4 Adorable Scoreable in Pale Green
Daisy Mae Design Spring Sale Stamp
Black Ink Pad
White Card
Stamp Press
Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Alcohol Markers
Acrylic mat (I just use a large stamp block)
Distress Inks in Festive Berries, Abandoned Coral, Dried Marigold and Fossilized Amber
Spray Water Bottle
Score Board
Heat Tool
Paper Trimmer
Double Sided Tape.
Instructions
I begun by stamping my image and colouring using my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers. The card the image is stamped on measures 3 3/4 Inch by 3 3/4 Inch
Using a large acrylic block I dotted it with the 4 different colours of distress ink
Using the water spray I misted with water.
the white paper was then gently laid over the top. This is all in my video on my YouTube Channel so please pop over if my instructions are unclear Mrs H's Crafty Corner
This was dried with a heat tool and cut to 4 1/2 Inch by 6 1/2 Inch. I trimmed the edges with a pair of scalloping shears and adhered the image using double sided tape
Using the green sheet of A4 cut this to 10 Inch by 7 Inch and score at 5 Inch
Fold and Burnish and adhere your patterned paper to the front using double sided tape
