I knew just what I wanted to use. I had ordered a spring rose layer stamp from Polkadoodles and when it arrived all signs on inspiration left my body. It just sat there desperately needing some love.
I could not match the colours perfectly so had to match the best that I could

Polkadoodles Spring Rose Layering Stamp
White Card Stock
Slim Die from Paper Discovery
Distress Ink in Tattered Rose, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Peacock Feathers
Spectrum Noir Finesse in Rustic Brown
Spectrum Noir Midas in Jade Green
The first layer of the first rose was stamped in tattered rose, followed by Picked rasperberry and the final part was stamped in spiced marmalade.
This rose was then masked and the leaves stamped in peacock feathers
The second roses first layer was stamped in Abandoned coral, then spiced marmalade and the final layer was in picked rasperberry.
The third rose follows the same pattern as the first.
The outline of all 3 Rose's was stamped in Spectrum Noir Finesse in Rustic Brown
Using the slim line die from the paper discovery die set I cut out the stamped image and stamped the sentiment best wishes in Spectrum Noir Midas Jade Green
The card base was blended in peacock feathers
Then the 2 layers were glued together
