A little gift

I decided to try to create a  little gift that will fit inside a normal card envelope and can be posted with the card. This cute little bookmark uses a Digi Stamp from the Polkadoodles Darling Buds Collection. I love snowdrops, to me they signify the start of spring, mother nature is beginning to wake up and re grow gracing us all with her beauty.

Instructions

The image was printed and coloured using spectrum noir markers. The snowdrops 

were left white with a tiny shading of grey but I felt that they were lacking something, they were therefore brushed with a spectrum noir sparkle pen in clear overlay just to give them a bit of a spring sparkle and suggest that they are waking up and blossoming

Using the largest luggage tag nesting die in my collection I cut a piece of textured white card. This was blended with Frayed Burlap, antique linen, broken china and Cracked Pistachio distress ink

The image was fussy cut out and a craft knife used to get into the difficult slits.

The image was then glued to the luggage tag

The tag was laminated in a laminating pouch to make it tougher wearing. This was trimmed and the hole pierce. I used a corner trimmer to round the corners and prevent it from being sharp.

It was then threaded with ribbon
