I love these little hard working beavers from Clearly Besotted and thought that they would make a great card for fathers day
I love how the little beaver is sat looking at the blue print while the rest work busily around him. I can not decide if he is in charge or just avoiding hard work....
There is a video tutorial available on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner
Supplies Used
1 A4 Piece of Green card
Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap, Brushed Corduroy, Broken China, Bundled Safw and Cracked Pistachio
Paper Discovery Woodgrain Embossing Folder
White Card
Clearly Besotted Build It Beaver Stamp Set
Spectrum Noir Tri-blend Markers
Spectrum Noir Finesse Ink Pad in Rustic Brown and black
Polkadoodle Stencil in Lawn and Cloudy Landscape
Instructions
Blend a piece of card with frayed Burlap distress ink
Rub the inside if the embossing folder with brushed corduroy distress ink
Put through the die cutting machine and allow the ink to dry
In the meantime stamp and colour the beaver stamps.on a piece of piece of white card measuring 6 inch by 4 inch, blend the bottom of the card in landscape mode in Bundled Sage then Broken China then Bundled Sage. To give the appearance of a river and 2 river banks
Cut the wood grained paper to appear like a log and glue down
Using the polkadoodles lawn stencil and the crack Pistachio distress ink blend grass onto each river bank. For the far bank blend with the grass pointing up then rotate and blend with it pointing down to give the impression of grass hanging over the stream
Using the Polkadoodles cloudy landscape stencil and Broken China make some clouds above the grass and glue the beavers on
The sentiment My hero I think you are awesome was stamped in the upper left corner using blank ink.
The white card was trimmed and a piece of green card cut to 10 Inch by 6 1/2 Inch and scored at 5
The scene was then attached to the front with the fold at the top
