I felt that they looked too elegant to sit on a normal plain rectangle card so purchased some card cut Files from Polkadoodles. This one was called elegant card 2.
In order to use the digi stamp which I had literally printed on a scrap of paper as I was only planning on practicing blending colours, I had to make the inner nest very narrow which has a knock on effect of leaving my edges very bare. This was rescued with some clear gems.
There is a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner
Supplies Used
Sunflower Digi Stamp by Lili of the Valley
Sunflower Digi Papers from Graciellie designs
1 sheet blue card
Elegant Card 2 Cutting Files from Polkadoodles
A blue background made using faded Jeans and salty ocean distress ink on a glass plate.
Embossing Ink
Papermania Embossing Powder in Enchanted Gold
Sentiment Stamp from Crafters Companion.
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
8 clear gems
Instructions
Using the cut files I cut the card base out on the blue card.I printed and coloured the sunflowers, then resized the nesting dies to accommodate the scrap of paper I had printed the stamp on.
The next die was the blue background and this was mounted behind the stamp.
The sunflower paper from the Graciellie designs was then cut larger still as I love the cute little bees on it and so wanted to see more of it.
Clear gems were placed down the sides.
The same nesting die was used to cut a second piece of blue background which was heat embossed with Happy Birthday just for you and stick inside the card
