Handmade Card Dainty Hugs

My inspiration for this card came from the Cupcakes Inspiration Challenge which had the theme, blue, yellow and white.

We have spent the week in the Lake District and as I was doing the 30 Day Marker Challenge I pre stamped a.lot of images to take with me. When the new challenge came out I instantly knew which image I would use. One.of my all time favourites Afternoon Tea by Daisy Mae Designs.

There is of course a video on my you tube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

Cardmaking Supplies Used
Avery Elle Wonky Square Die
Daisy Mae Design Afternoon Tea Stamp Set
A6 Cream Card cut to 5 Inch
Patterned Paper from The Works
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
Nuvo Drops in Duck Egg Blue and Mustard Gold
Polka Dot Ribbon
Spectrum Noir Finesse Ink in Rustic Brown

Cardmaking Tutorial

To begin the images were stamped, coloured and fussy cut out.

The wonkey square die was cut out of the blue patterned paper and the small die cut out of the same cream as the card base.

The ribbon was glued onto the bottom front of the card base

The squares were arranged as in the picture below.

The main image was glued onto the cream square using glue

The hug sentiment that came with the wonky square die was cut in the same cream as the card base and glued onto the ribbon

The individual macaroons were adhered using a mixture of glue and foam squares

The edges on the inner square were decorated with nuvo drops

I am entering this into the following challenges
