I have been practising my colouring techniques too and found a fabulous free site with loads of really easy to follow videos Kit and Clowder Free Online Classes. She gave me the confidence to try to blend the 2 colours together in the bird. I just need my hubbie to be working evening shifts so I can sit properly and watch them all on the big screen.
A video tutorial is available on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner
Supplies Used
1 Piece A4 Card stock
Sizzix Embossing folder (I think it was called love birds but can not be sure)
Daisy Mae Design Stamp in Spring Blossom
Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers
Spetrum Noir Finesse ink Pad in Rustic Brown
Distress Ink in Broken China & Dusty Concord
Circle Nesting Dies
Glue
Instructions
I begun by stamping the image in Spectrum Noir Finesse Rustic Brown and Coloured with Tri-Blend markers
I rubbed the flat side of the Embossing folder half in broken china and the other half in dusty concord. The card stock was carefully placed in the folder and this was run though the Die cutting machine.
Using the largest circle die of my collection, the diameter of which is 3 3/4 Inches. I cut a hole in the front of the card base
and mounted the stamped image to the reverse side of the hole.
I have entered this into the
