Card Making Tutorial

A torn oval was cut into white card and the bird bath was stamped and coloured

This was then covered in fake snow and left to dry

The Robin patterned paper and a piece of red card were cut using a stitched rectangle die and adhered onto the card base

Hessian ribbon was attached at the bottom

And the bird bath panel was adhered onto this with double sided tape

A robin was adhered onto the bird bath

The sentiment was adhered using foam squares and the bow and poinsettia added
The second robin was added at the bottom on the ribbon

A button was added to the opposite side

And clear drops and Nuvo Drops finished the card

Todays card is my second card for the new Polkadoodles release. Too Cute too and

Card Making Tutorial

The Sunflowers from the Autumn bundle, bee and butterfly from the Winnie 
delights collection were arranged and Bella Bear was Placed in front of them.
This was printed and cut out using a torn rectangle nesting die. Grass was pencilled in.

The entire image coloured using alcohol markers. The Digital Paper was printed

Using a piece of orange card I created the card base by trimming the width of a piece of A4 to the length of an piece of A5. This was the scored at the length of A5 to form my top fold. 

Panels of the digital paper and kraft card were adhered onto this, as well as a small panel at the bottom

Th3 inside was covered with a piece of cream card

A piece of Kraft card was cut with the torn rectangle die and used to secure the 2 front panels together

The image was glued onto the Kraft card panel. A butterfly and flower were coloured and fussy cut out

These were glued onto the image

The card was finished with a selection of wooden buttons, embellishments a twine bow and Nuvo drops

I was so excited to get my September Paper Craft Society Box, not only is it one of the highlights of my months, but this one is designed by Daisy Mae and a Christmas theme.

Card Making Tutorial

Onto a piece of white card cut with a torn rectangle nesting die the post box was stamped and coloured 

Using PVA on the snow, fake snow was adhered and left to dry for a few hours before the excess was knocked off

Using a larger piece of white card which has been cut with a larger torn rectangle nesting die I stamped the form a number of times in blue ink

The patterned paper from the box was cut with a stitched rectangle and adhered with double sided tape onto an A5 Card base

The fern torn rectangle was adhered at an angle 

And the post box at the opposite angle

The die cut sentiment 'with love' was added with foam squares

And a button was glued onto this

The card was finished with a small twine bow

Polkadoodles New Releases Agnes Scooters

I was not only honoured but a little gobsmacked and in awe if I am honest, to be asked to be on the release team for the new release digital image collection by 
Polkadoodles. The release is called Too Cute 2 and features the adoreable Bella 
Bear and a brand new character for the Polkadoodles collection, Anges Elephant. 
Who I must add is just adorable.

Here is my first creation using Agnes Scooter. You can purchase and download your image here. 

For anyone a little nervous about using digital images, there are some fabulous 
videos that Nicky (Polkadoodles Owner) does here which you can find here and no 
special software is needed. All of my digital images are resized and edited using Microsoft Word.

Card Making Tutorial

To begin I cut the white card using the slimline die. This was then inked using the stencils and the distress oxides

The picket fence and Grass was cut using the SVG cut file and my Cutting Machine
These were glued onto the inked panel

Nuvo Drops were dotted to give the illusions of nails on the fence panels

The cut grass was added

A piece of green card was cut using a slimline scalloped die and the panel was glued onto this

Agnes Scooter was printed, coloured and fussy cut out. This was then adhered onto 
the card panel. 

Flower sequins were added to the fence posts

The panel was glued onto a slimline blue card base

Nuvo drops were added to the sequin flowers

She looks so cute scooting in the field. Don’t you agree?

Girlie Birthday

Another greeting farm scene today. Martha's little friend turns 10 and I think it is a really difficult age, they do not want cute they want to be grown up.So I went for super girlie and I love the outcome

I created the scene in Microsoft word, printed and coloured it with alcohol markers
This was die cut using a stitched rectangle nesting die
A piece of pink glitter card was cut with the larger nesting die and the 2 were adhered together

A pink bow and sequins were added 

This was adhered onto an A5 Card base 

And finished with nuvo drops

Sweet Treats Shaker

I have had these little cake embellishments sat waiting to be loved for some time and what would be more perfect than a sweet treats shaker card made using the new releases from Time For Tea Designs called Treat your Self. I love the sentiment that reads treat your self Birthday Calories don't count

Card Making Tutorial

The 2 A5 pieces of white card were blended, one with Picked Raspberry and one with peacock Feathers

Using the square die the window was cut into the pink one.
A border was created with the Metallic blue and adhered down.

An acetate window was adhered onto.the wrong side and foam tape applied to the edges of the card panel and around the square.

Onto the peacock Feathers I stamped the sentiments using the Smoked Pearl ink.

The shaker was filled and the Peacock Feathers card secured onto the back.

This was adhered onto the sheet of A4 which had been folded down the centre to create the card base.

Using what was left of the peacock feathers and the blue card stitched rectangle circles were die cut. 

The images were stamped in Finesse rustic brown, coloured and die cut out. These were then arranged onto the die cut circles.

The card was finished with an ice cream cone embellishment, clear dew drops and nuvo drops
