When I was a little girl we went to my Nan's every Sunday for our tea and I use to love the build up to Christmas. We only lived 10 minutes apart at the time and we use to count the Christmas trees in the windows. I bought the Mama elephant Peek a Frame Die set with them Sunday evenings in my mind.

Card Making Tutorial
To begin I stamped, coloured and die cut the fireplace and stockings, while stamping, colouring and fussy cutting the onesies
Using the peek a frame die I cut the window frame into the metallic card and an oping in the white card. The 2 were adhered together to form the front card panel.
Onto the green card base the fireplace and characters were glued so that they were viable through the window.
I doubled a layer of foam tape all around the edge of the front of the card base and adhered the front window panel
A strip of gold card was cut and a slightly smaller green one, formed the sentiment banner. Onto this I heat embossed the sentiment which is from the Clearly Besotted Santa Baby Stamp Set.
The card was then finished with sequins and nuvo drops

DeleteWhat a lovely memory Claire! I still find it exciting to look in the lighted windows and see everyone's Christmas decorations while I'm taking my dog for her evening stroll. I love your card, especially the opening window and the scene you created inside. Vicky x

DeleteWhat a sweet memory and an equally sweet card! When I was little and we would go my nan's (which is what we called her, too!), we would look at all the Christmas lights...there were not as many then as there are now!
