summer sun

A fun and bright card today. I totally forgot about this seasonal line up by Clearly besotted, there is one for each season. I have had it ages, it was one of my first stamps. I have pair it with the recently purchased seasonal scenes

There is a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

Cardmaking Tutorial

I begun by cutting a white circle using the nesting die and stamping and colouring my scene.
The animals were stamped, coloured and die cut

Using the stitched rectangle from the mama elephant peek a frame die set I cut a piece of white card and stencilled the sun using squeezed lemonade

The sentiment was heat embossed and blended with tumbled glass. I trimmed the strip and rounded the corners to create my banner.

This was all adhered together as below.

Using double sided tape I adhered the card panel to the yellow card base

And finished with Nuvo drops in the white rays
