No Place Like Home

I am a real home bird, I love nothing more than being at home. So the whole pandemic malarkey has played a little into my hands. Don't get me wrong I am fed up with it all now but it is has also been nice to be forced to slow down a little. I am one of those individuals that did not know how to sit still before all this. I literally charged from one thing to another. The lockdown has taught me to slow down, sit down and even how to colour.

Card Making Tutorial

I edited my home scene and printed this out.

The scene was die cut with a stitched rectangle die and using a pencil I lightly sketched in my room.

This was coloured with alcohol markers.
The panel was adhered onto a card base with double sided tape

Nuvo drops were added to the carpet

The electrical devices and the liquid in the mugs were finished with glossy accents

I am a home body too, I retired after a really fast and hectic job two days before our lock down in NZ and loved it, I am free now to do whatever I want, but choose to stay at home and slow down..
