I spoke with Candice and agreed that I would record my story. I have kept it very short as I do not want to bore people but it is intregrated into the introduction of my video in the hop. Please pop over and see the amazing creations made by the other participates.
There are a number of prizes for comments on the Youtube hop. You can find the full details in Candices Video here
The colour for Eating Disorder (ED) awareness is purple so that became the basis of my creation.

At my diagnosis I felt like an empty shell and one that had let so many people down, my parents, my husband, my children and yet they continued to support me. Flowers came from work, cards from friends, a voucher for a massage from a distant relative... people still cared, I had done this to myself (yes I was ill but my mind did not understand that at the time) and yet people were still telling me that they cared. In the early days of recovery that is properly the only thing I could cling too.
My list of fear foods was endless and I have just about got through this. A massive one was achieved on Christmas Day. White bread!! That seems so silly I know but this was a biggy and the bacon sandwich tasted AMAZING!!
This card was designed with that in mind. Just a note to let someone know that they are in our thoughts.

Card Making Tutorial
I swoshed the distress oxides onto an acyrlic plate and sprinkled with water.
Water coloured card was laid on top of this, then left to dry
Once dry the background was cut using the XOXO die plate
The Thinking of you sentiment was heat embossed a number of yimes onto this panel
This was adhered onto a purple card base
I cut the rainbow die with silver card and purple card and combined the 2 together
The luggage tag die was cut into Pearlescent card and the torn rectangle die in the purple card.
The creative expressions sentiment was heat embossed onto the torn rectangle.
This was then adhered onto the luggage tag and then the card panel with foam squares
