As pretty as this card is now it very nearly did not happen. I stamped the sentiment and smudged it not once but four times!! Then heat embossed mum and smudged that too. I was not having the best day.

This card is for my Grandma from my Mum and Dad. She will kill me if I tell you how old she is so lets just say the wrong side of 85

There is a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

Card Making Tutorial

A piece of white card was cut with a stitched circle die and stamped with the outline of the layering rose in black
The second layer was stamped in Victorian Velvet

Followed by Worn Lipstick and the  Seedless Preserve

The rose was masked and the leaves stamped with twisted citron

Followed by peeled paint

Then Rustic Wilderness

The sentiment was stamped in the midas

The pink plate die was cut into pink card

Then adhered onto the patterned paper

Another sheet of patterned paper was cut with a larger circle die

After attempting to heat emboss mum onto a torn rectangle and failing miserably in my temper I chose to stamp it in the Midas instead

The card was put together as below

Then finished with clear drops and a lace bow
