As pretty as this card is now it very nearly did not happen. I stamped the sentiment and smudged it not once but four times!! Then heat embossed mum and smudged that too. I was not having the best day.
This card is for my Grandma from my Mum and Dad. She will kill me if I tell you how old she is so lets just say the wrong side of 85

A piece of white card was cut with a stitched circle die and stamped with the outline of the layering rose in black
The second layer was stamped in Victorian Velvet
Followed by Worn Lipstick and the Seedless Preserve
Followed by peeled paint
