Paper Hugs

I feel like spring should be starting to show her little face so thought that the autumn cover plate die could easily be turned into a spring scene in anticipation

There is a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

Card Making Tutorial

I begun with the autumn plate die on white card

The blank background was blended in faded jeans, mermaid lagoon and tumbled glass

The hills were blended in rustic wilderness

While the tree used walnut stain

The frame was cut into pink card and adhered

Green card was cut with the cloud die to create foliage. A cloud was also cut and adhered

The glider die was secured and this was half run through the die cut machine to create a much smaller glide

Running this through the die machine resulted in the glue showing through the tree. I fixed this by added some individual leaves

The kitten was adhered into the glide mechanism using foam tape and a penny

The post box was adhered

A sheet if A5 was folded at the half way point and the bottom of the card base coloured with the rustic wilderness

Foam tape was adhered around the edges

The panel was adhered onto the card base and the base trimmed down

Using rustic wilderness the sentiment was stamped

This was trimmed, the corners rounded and adhered on foam squares

A few glue spots still remained on the tree so these were covered with some tiny flowers from the autumn plate cover die
