Polkadoodles Eli

The DT brief was to use a critter image and to make a flap for something.
I decided to create this cute slot for a gift card

Card Making Supplies 

Twines
Wooden Button
Stick on Gems

Card Making Tutorial

The image was printed, coloured and cut using a stitched square die


The squarey heart die was cut in purple, the 2 were adhered and this was adhered onto a sheet of cream card


The digital paper was printed, trimmed and adhered onto a cream piece of card


The bottom of the card was masked to provide a border and the distress oxide was used on the stencil 


The sheet of a5 was trimmed to the width of the image and then folded to create a pocket. Each side was s3cured with double sided tape


This was adhered onto the card panel


Which was then decorated with twine

Gems were adhered onto the inside of the gift card holder


And the twine was finished with a button
