I really can not believe how fast this year is going. It is time for another new release at Crafty Purple Frog and it follows on the animal theme and makes me think back to childhood stories of wind in the willows. Mr Otter here is attempting to catch his dinner

Card Making Tutorial
I begun by making my shaker elements. This was done using the fish stamp and shrink wrap. I stamped them, fussy cut them out, then heated them and coloured the reverse.
The otter was stamped and the background pencilled in before being coloured in the following blends
life jacket GY5, GY3, GY1, JG7, JG5, JG3, IG9, IG7, IG5
Boat above water GB8, GB6, GB3
Boat below water GB3, GB2, GB1
Shore EB8, EB5, EB3Grass CG4, CG3, CG2, CG1
Trees EB8, EB6, EB3
Far Trees EB2, EB1, BGR3
Leaves YG3, YG2, YG1
Grass AG5
Using a rectangle nesting die I created the shaker winder and added acetate to the back of this. Using the part cut out I inked it using the distress ink and then used the oxides with the stencil and shimmer spray.
The card panel was then finished with the following blends
Pond BT6, AB3, AB2, AB1, TB7, TB4, TB2, TB1
Rod IG10, IG6, IG4
Otter RB4, RB3, RB2, RB1
The sentiment was heat embosed
The stencilled negative was adhered onto a sheet of card and foam tape applied around the edges
This was filled with the fish sprinkles and the panel secured onto the foam tape
Nuvo drops and clear beads were adhered and the panel was adhered onto an A5 black card base
