Lets Play Pirates

I wanted to join in with the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge but this time the theme is nautical. I was really struggling, I had very little inspiration. But came across this little gem of a digital stamp by Di's Digital Stamps while looking for something I could use on my studio door sign.

The image is on grass and has a tiny ladybird in the bottom left corner but with a ocean around the boat and some carefully positioned die cutting I think I have hidden these.

I tried to give the card base a tropical sunset feel.

There is a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

To begin Icut a piece of card with the stitched rectangle nesting die.

The circle was then die cut from this

The sentiment on your special day was heat embossed

The image was coloured and glued behind the sunset set

This was then glued onto the card base

Handmade Card Dainty Hugs

My inspiration for this card came from the Cupcakes Inspiration Challenge which had the theme, blue, yellow and white.

We have spent the week in the Lake District and as I was doing the 30 Day Marker Challenge I pre stamped a.lot of images to take with me. When the new challenge came out I instantly knew which image I would use. One.of my all time favourites Afternoon Tea by Daisy Mae Designs.

Greeting Card Gnome Love

Todays Handmade Greeting Card is for the Cupcakes Inspiration challenge. The theme theme for this round is flowers with Pearl's or sequins

Friendship

Are you like me? Are the social restrictions begin to grate on you? I understand why we need to do what we are doing but I don't think I have ever gone this long without seeing my best friend. We have been friends since I was 10, so for over 25 years we have stood shoulder to shoulder through the tough times and the great times and I now have not seen her since the beginning of March. Of course we have spoken but not actually seen each other in flesh. She lives over 30 miles away so to drive all that way just to wave through a window was against the rules.

Oh My Gosh!!!

I am not feeling overly great today, a bit of a sore throat, a banging head and really really achy legs. Mr H has sent me to lay down, while he is in charge if the children. Thankfully today I am off work but it does mean I am losing out on valuable crafting time. I am praying that it is not the dreaded virus, not sure if I dare even whisper its name!!!

My phone brings an email, it is from Cupcakes Inspirations with their new challenge, I scroll to the bottom looking at the amazing entries that are the last challenges sweet picks and mine is there!!!! Mine is actually there!!!!! I feel my forehead to make sure I am not hallucinating due to a temperature. Nope mine is actually up there as a sweet pick!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge - Cream, Pink and Black

So I have quietly been sat on the sidelines watching the Cupcake Inspirations Challenges and have decided to bite the bullet and submit an entry.

The challenges run bi-weekly and the current theme is pink, white and black.
