Polkadoodles Acatate Feature

It is Tuesday so time for a new Anything Goes Challenge over at Polkadoodles Digi-Choosday Challenge Blog. Pop over today to claim a discount code, giving a great saving on all digital images.

Our brief for this weeks challenge was to use a Christmas image and incorporate an acetate feature.
So here I am showcasing this fabulous scene made using Polkadoodles Frostella & Ginger Gift digital stamp.
This card was a real labour of love but I am honestly thrilled with it

No Place Like Home

I am a real home bird, I love nothing more than being at home. So the whole pandemic malarkey has played a little into my hands. Don't get me wrong I am fed up with it all now but it is has also been nice to be forced to slow down a little. I am one of those individuals that did not know how to sit still before all this. I literally charged from one thing to another. The lockdown has taught me to slow down, sit down and even how to colour.

La La Land Crafts Marci Comfy Sweater

I just had to have this digital stamp, by La La Land Crafts. I love comfy sweaters and think Marci looks great in hers.I have paired this with a tree and pumpkin from the Polkadoodles Autumn/Fall Bundle.

I actually put the sentiment banner on to cover up a blunder. So this has not turned out exactly how I hoped.
I had tried to put a bush where the banner is but it just did not look right at all, it looked more like where our daft mutt cocks his leg on my lamppost

So I attempted to colour it back in as grass and just ended up with too much shadow so did the best I could with the sentiment banner.

A piece of A5 Kraft card was scored, burnish and folded down the middle.

Onto this I heat embossed the wreath.

The image was then glued over the top. On the left hand side of the wreath are a few small berries that come out of the wreath. I filled these in using Nuvo Drops.

The critter was placed onto the pumpkin using foam squares

A strip of burgundy card was cut and a piece of hessian ribbon glued onto it. On another piece of the burgundy the sentiment was heat embossed. This was trimmed and…
