Naughty Fox

Oh my this naughty naughty fox ( he is actually a badger I just coloured him as a fox) is contemplating breaking into the duck barn!!! No Mr Fox please become a vegetarian

Mad Dog

These delightful doggies remind me so much of our last dog, she was an extremely naughty beagle named Indie, we did love her and she let a huge hole in our lives when she passes but boy life was certainly never boring with her

Granny

It is ages since I have used my scan n cut but figured that a nice granny card would be perfect on it. I struggle to get a granny card as most are grandma or nannie

Ruba Dub Duck

Just splashing in the tub. These ducks are sure having fun. I sent this card to my swap partner for the crafty purple frog card swap. You can join next month by joining the crafty purple frog Facebook group

Rainy Ducks

A group of Heffy doodle Fans have joijned forces to create a prize filled hop over on Instagram. Here is my entry. These poor docks are stuck in a downpour in the big city. This was created before the floods across Europe last week

Hoppin By Pop Up

Sneak Peak Day 2, So as soon as I received the Hopping By Stamp Set From the new release from Crafty Purple Frog I knew I wanted to do something a little different. But I could not make up my mind what, so a scene card, come pop up, come shaker all rolled into one emerged

Grandad

A real tongue in cheek card today for my Dad from the kids for Father's Day. My dad is the fitness man I know and so this is a mick take as we remind him of his age often

BBQ Anyone

This card is for my best friends husband, he is the BBQ master and can cook anything as long as he is in the garden. Put him in the kitchen and nothing is edible

Shake Your Tail Feathers

Fancied a change from drawing trees so thought these fabulous birds could do with a lovely garden to relax in. That one on the perch looks like he is quite enjoying the sunshine.

Dino Time

My nephew turns 3 this month and is dinosaur mad!! So I wanted to create a fun dino card. I do actually fear for long neck here as I can not help that but think that he is about to become Mr Rex's lunch. I did not really think that one through when I stamped them up

Duck Race

We once stayed in a lodge owned by the Forestry Commission and they had a rubber duck race on the river that flowed through the forest. It was great fun, made even more hilarious by the organisers mad Labrador pup which swum down the river with the rubber ducks and every time it caught one it throw it out of the river, onto the shore. The organiser was charging down the bank lobbing them back in. This card made me laugh when I remembered the race

Pull tab

For this card I have taken inspiration from my second Sandy Allnock lesson from the enchantment course, but have added in my stamps, an extra tree and changed up the colours

Birds of a feather

This stamp set is great for creating easy cards to fill out your stash. This is what the kids have requested for my Dad for his birthday

Clearly Besotted Cosy Christmas

The August Kit and Clowder Monthly Marker Tutorial is an enchanted garden and has the most adorable pumpkin house with a brick bay window. I have only just started the class and so am nowhere near ready to show you all yet However I decided I would practice the brick technique on this fireplace and I can not believe how well it turned out

There is a video on my YouTube Channel showing how I made the card but because I often sit and watch TV while colouring there is not one of the fireplace technique. Mrs H's Crafty Corner

Wingman

I love this fun Stamp set from Heffy Doodles and already know the recipient, we all have that one person who has our backs regardless of the situation.

This is my first attempt at using brushes instead of foam pads for my ink and I have to be honest and say I agree with all the hype. Just wow it was so effortless

Interactive Christmas

This stamp and die set from Time for Tea Designs is so fun, with the naughty fury friends trashing the tree. We use to have a beagle, she was the most beautiful dog I have ever come across, but was totally bonkers and so so naughty I could tell you many tales. Including how she learnt to open the grill door so she could use it as step to climb onto the work surfaces and ate an entire slow cooker full of lamb stew...
Christmas with Indiana was a nightmare she was THIS dog. We use to put bells on the bottom of the tree so they acted like an early warning system and alerted us to her mischief before too much damage was caused. Even as a tiny puppy at Christmas last year Hamish our Jack Russel did not have the interest in the tree that Indie never grew out of

When we visit a special place I buy a bauble as I love putting the tree up and it reminding me of the trip.  We can be like 'oh do you remember that trip to...'
Well my inspiration for this card came from Indie, on one particular tree mounting occurrence my husband literally threw himself across the room and caught our bauble from New York (that could have been costly). There were decorations flying in all directions but he saved the ones that mattered.

Mama Elephant Peek A Frame Die Set
Distress Ink in Fired Brick and Mowed Lawn
Versamark Embossing Ink
Wow Embossing Powder in Earthtone Grape
Nuvo Drops in Mustard Gold and Moonlight Silver

Card Making Tutorial

To begin I stamped, coloured and die cut the images. The die set has a die you can lay on the tree to.cut the head and arm holes of the furry beast.

Using the large stitched rectangle from the mama elephant die set I.cut a.piece of white card stock. I used the heffy doodle pull tab dies to form the panel.for my pull tab base. See the picture below for placement

This was blended in Fired brick distress ink

The pull tab was inserted and I felt it would be too heavy for just the one circle to mount onto. I therefore cut another and used double.sided tape to attached them both together to form one pull tab. See the picture below

The top one was coloured in the fired brick to ensure that it blended in if seen

Using acatate the free falling baubles and the dog were attached to the mechanism. The tree was then secured onto card base with foam tape to allow a gap

The pull tab arrow was blended in the distress ink

The sentiment was heat embossed using Wow Earthtone Grape Embossing Powder  and this was blended in mowed lawn. A cormer trimmer was used to.round the edges

This was attached to the card panel which was adhered to a card base using double sided tape

The card was finished with nuvo drops

Interactive Gnomes

I purchased this pull tab die on a whim. It looked good but I am not sure I would use it. It frightened me a little and looked complicated. I was very wrong it was just so so easy.
