sweetie pie

I really wanted to make this a soft card and I was disappointed to find that the backing paper I thought I had that would of worked perfectly I had used up except for a tiny scrap. So I figured I could make my own.

There is of course a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

I begun by cutting a rectangle using the nesting die and stamping the small images from the stamp set. I masked these and blended tattered rose over the top and antique linen around the edges.

Bunny Burrow

I always wanted to live in a house built into the hillside when I was a little girl. We go down to Cornwall every couple of years and always visit a place called Hidden Valley Discovery Park  where you have a tonne of clues to follow to solve a mystery. The adults and the kids love it. The kids love finding the clues and watching the adults scratch their heads trying to figure it out. One year a clue was 7+8+5+9+1+0+7+6+88=9 We decided to go for a coffee as we were stumped! It was then my husband started to doodle and colour in the 0's on each number!!!!! Bingo!!! The answer was found purely by accident but had 6 adults staring at it for some time. We first went the year Jack was born and have watched it grow and develop over the years. A few years ago they built a hobbit hole and I swear it is just like this stamp!!

The minute I saw this stamp set from Daisy Mae Designs I knew I wanted to created a special card with it. My husband parents own a caravan and it is his mums birthday coming up soon so I knew I wanted to use it for that.
I wanted it to he something special though. This did not turn out how zi had planned, by original plan would not work but I quite like how it eventually turned out

Panda Perfection

I have a special place in my heart for pandas.

Years ago I was sat on my Grandad's knee as a little girl and there was a panda on the tv. Apparently I turned to my Grandad, patted his belly and said the name of the panda. It stuck and I still call him it today as do my children.

Fathers Day Card

I always struggle when it comes to male cards, the inspiration just does not flow like it does with female cards. So when Creative Stamping magazine came with a free set of Hunkydory, For the Love of Stamps The Great Outdoors stamp set, earlier in the year I knew that I would save them for this occasion.

Easel Card - A Positivity Rainbow

There are so many beautiful rainbow cards out there that I wanted my take to be slightly different. This is s super easy easel card, almost like a cheat way, so perfect if you are in a rush, but still gives a great effect

A Vibrant Fun Fold Card

I feel like I am getting braver with distress inks and it is starting to show, I love the vibrancy of this card.

It feels really summery to me and reminds me of a red hot sunset and marigolds. Not sure why the marigolds maybe it is the orangey red.

Torn Rectangle Card

Hello and welcome. This tutorial will take you through a step by step guide on how to make a Torn Rectangle Card.  This is one of my favourite cards for if you are in a rush as it is really easy and quick.

Masking Stamps

Masking stamps is really easy and allows you to layer stamps to give an illusion of one item in front of another and they can also be used to ink a background.
In this tutorial I will show you just how easy it actually is.
