Polkadoodles New Releases Agnes Scooters

I was not only honoured but a little gobsmacked and in awe if I am honest, to be asked to be on the release team for the new release digital image collection by
Polkadoodles. The release is called Too Cute 2 and features the adoreable Bella
Bear and a brand new character for the Polkadoodles collection, Anges Elephant.
Who I must add is just adorable.

Here is my first creation using Agnes Scooter. You can purchase and download your image here.

For anyone a little nervous about using digital images, there are some fabulous
videos that Nicky (Polkadoodles Owner) does here which you can find here and no
special software is needed. All of my digital images are resized and edited using Microsoft Word.

Papercraft Society September Unboxing

It is that time of the month!!! *spoiler alert* Please do not read any further if you do not want to see what is in this months box

There is a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

I am very excited by this one as it has been created by Daisy Mae Designs and not only that but it is festive too.

The stamps and dies are just gorgeous, what I would design as English village objects. The snow covered post box, the bird bath

The patterned papers are very soft colours and there are even die cut sentiments

Complete with fake snow, wooden love heart buttons, hessian ribbon and twine it has a bit of a shabby chic feel

Oh and water colour pencils which will be a new for me

I can not wait to get crafting with of goodies

Papercraft Society August Make

A chance to play with the Papercraft Society August Box, the autumn theme of this box is beautiful but I did struggle for a little inspiration. But I got there eventually

There is a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

Card Making Supplies

Papercraft Society August Box
Polkadoodle Dew Drops
Bronze Embossing Powder from Papercraft Society June Box
Kraft Card
Versamark Embossing Ink
Spectrum Noir Finesse in Rustic Brown
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers

Card Making Tutorial

Using the dies from the set I cut the intricate wreath in Kraft card and the backing in acatate

Using the pink card I scored the short edge at 1/2 Inch. With the other piece I cut 2 strips one measuring 1/2 Inch and one measuring 2 Inch.

These were glued together to form the card base. The green patterned paper was trimmed to fit inside the card

The stamped images were coloured and glued onto the wreath. The top panel was decorated with the tiny wooden buttons

The sentiment was heat embossed onto the lower panel

The card was then accessorised with dew drops, nuvo drops and a twine bow

I finally bit the bullet and decided to attempt the slider card that came in July's edition of the Papercraft Society Box. I thought it was going to be really difficult so had not got around to giving it the time. But it was amazingly easy I was so surprised and I love the results. This is definitely a fun card and one I will be creating again

Cardmaking Supplies Used
July PaperCraft Society Subscription Box - Stamps, Dies and Patterned Paper
Sheet Red Card
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
Gold Ribbon
Blue Gems
Flower Sequins
Embossing ink
Wow Embossing Powder in Blue Glitz
Spectrum Noir Midas Metallic ink pad in Jade Green
Sheet of A4 White Card Stock
Made to Surprise Lets Hear it For the Girls Sentiment Stamps

Cardmaking Instructions
The sheet of white A4 was cut to 6 Inches, scored and folded at the half way mark

A piece of red card was cut to 5 3/4 Inch by 6 Inch and a Sheet of the stripy patterned paper from the subscription box was cut to 5 1/4 by 5 1/2 Inch. These were glued together and using the slider die from the pack I cut the slide mechanism.

This was laid over the white card base and a pencil mark showed where I needed to stamp. I heat embossed the sentiment "Oh you don't look a day over fabulous"

The Pull mechanism was cut into red card and Pull was stamped onto the end with the Midas Ink.
Using double sided tape this was glued onto the mechanism on the inside of the card. The Card face was then glued onto the card base.

The stamped images were coloured, fussy cut and arranged on the slide mechanism. The word 'Yay' was die cut in the same red as the card. This die was also into the subscription box.

Gold ribbon was glued down the sides

The Pull mechanism was finished with 2 flower sequins and blue gems stuck onto the top and the bottom.

This will be entered into the following challenges
