Card Making tutorial

The image was printed, coloured and cut out using the oval die

A piece of pink card was with a circle cutter. At the half way mark I measured one inch and they used the cutter set at the same distance
To create a small straight for the ribbon.

The digital paper was printed and a smaller circle cut, a circle was also cut in craft card

The trellis die was used on kraft card. And the image adhered to it

The ribbon was attached to the card base

The image was adhered onto the fancy trellis and this was glued onto the rocker card base

A bow was attached and the card was embellishment with sequins, dew drops and small paper flowers

Cardmaking Supplies Used

Polkadoodles Twiggy & Toots Cake Time Digital Stamp and Sentiment
A4 Kraft Card
A4 White card
A4 Leaves stencil from Polkadoodles
Polkadoodles Oval Die Set
Circle Cutter
Red Ribbon
Distress Ink in Fossilised Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Fried Brick and Gathered Twigs
Paper Doily
Nuvo Drops in Mustard gold and Orange Soda
Glossy Accents
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
Foam Squares

Cardmaking Instructions

Using the circle cutter I cut a piece of Kraft Card to have a radius of 3 7/8th Inches. This was scored, burnished and folded at the half way point

A piece of white card was cut using a radius of 3 1/2 Inch. This was cut down the middle to give 2 semi circles.
One of these semi circles was blended using the stencil and distress inks in Fossilised Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Fried Brick and Gathered Twigs.

A paper doily was coloured with fried brick distress ink and cut into 2

The image was printed and coloured with alcohol markers and cut with the largest oval die

The sentiment comes with the digital stamp and read Hip Hip Hooray it is your special day. This was too big for where I wanted it to go so I trimmed down the sentiment and coloured it in fried brick. The corners were rounded and it was mounted on Kraft card.
The card was then assembled as below

The sentiment is on foam squares

Using the circle cutter a piece of orange card was cut and glued to the back. Nuvo drops were added to the doily and around the edge and glossy accents added to the champagne flutes.

This is being entered into the following challenges

Global Pride Day

Global pride day in 2020 is Saturday 27th June. Like most other events on the social calendar all parades and celebrations have been cancelled.
The LGBT+ community have a number of on line celebrations but I wanted to show my support for a very special couple in our family by flying the flag with them.

Rocker Card, Tea & Cake - Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Spring/Summer 2020

This is a variation of a rocker card. I bought this gorgeous hessian ribbon online and I thought it was 3cm wide but I had accidentally clicked 5cm. We have all done it, right? I am sure it wont be the last time....
I keep looking at it and wondering what I can do to show off its beauty. Then it came to me. A variation on a rocker card.
