Magengo Say Cheese

This is a new company I had not heard of before but the fabulous Vicki over at Vics Crafts is on their design team so I popped over to Etsy for a quick look and oh my! My basket was full before I had chance to say digital stamp.

The digital stamps also come with the SVG file and I spent absolutely ages lining this up with the image I had printed and was starting to loose my patience. When it dawned on me I didn't even need the SVG as I have a scan and cut. Scanned my images and was finished within 3 minutes. Talk about trying to complicate things.

Cheerful Balloons

A fun card perfect for any little one.

There is of course a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

Card Making Supplies

Clearly Besotted Best Balloons Stamp Set
Yellow Ribbon
Spectrum Noir Finesse In Rustic Brown
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
Clearly Besotted Cloudy Day Stencil
Distress Ink In Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio, Fried Brick and Peacock Feathers
Heffy Doodle Stitched Slimline Trio Die
Heffy Doodle Scalloped Frame from The Pull Tab Die Set
Nuvo Drops in Sherbet Simmer and Caribbean Ocean
Sequins in pale green
Blue ribbon
Red slimline Card Base

Card Making Tutorial

I begun by stamping, colouring and fussy cutting the balloon animals

Using the slimline die I cut a sheet of white card and with the distress ink and stencil I created the background

I smudged the red but you can not tell once the card is all put together.

Each balloon had a strip of ribbon attached and was glued onto the panel using glue spots

A blue ribbon was added and the panel was mounted onto white card which had been cut with the scalloped die.

Caribbean Ocean Nuvo Drops were added to the panel and the scalloped edges were decorated in the sherbet shimmer and the sequins

This was then adhered onto the card base using double sided tape
