Cup of Positivity

We all need a little lift some times and I just fell in love with the Tiny Townie from Stamping Bella. In our office a cup of tea fixes everything

Autumn Snuggle

I love snuggling under a blanket and this little sweetie is the same, watching the delights of nature around her

Employees of the month

Oh my these 2 gnomes will not be winning the employee of the month award anytime soon

Mad professor

In an apartment block in a distant city, working on new equations and theories

Under the keg

The inspiration for todays card came from lesson 4 of the Sandy Allnock Copic Enchantment class, it is a slimline sun set with a log in the foreground and a forest in the background. I felt these drunks gnomes may not be able to see the sunset but it would create a fab backdrop for them,

Bullying Awareness Hop

So when I was approached by Kelly from Kelly Creates and asked to participate in a hop for raising awareness of  bullying, I agreed but was totally stuck on what to do. A quick google search told me that the anti-bullying alliance in the UK hold a national anti bullying week every November which is themed, however this years theme is not released until May, so I could not even go with that for inspiration.

I rummaged through my stamps and came across the Be Your Own Hero stamp set by Stamping Bella and so decided to go with supportive inspiration instead

in celebration

I am so excited to finally be able to tell you all that Amy from Crafty Purple Frog has asked me to join her design team on a permanent basis. So I get to play with not only her fabulous releases but all the other amazing brands she stocks from around the world. So what better card to debut with but one that states In Celebration of this day...

I always looked at the Stamping Bella oddballs stamps in awe but never really sure what I would do with them but as my colouring skills and confidence in creating scenes has increased I find myself drawn to them.

When I first saw this stamp I just knew that I had to have it, with my Dad very much in mind, but then I thought it would make a great teacher card too.

Magical Day

My Fairy and Unicorn mad best friend turns 37 so this card is for her.

Heart new arrival

My baby days are over so I literally  can not wait to hold my Brother and Sister In Laws baby. Lockdown means we are missing out on so much. Baby snuggles are just one. He has arrived and is just gorgeous, both are well

Birthday Hero

Life can be hard at times and we are all heroes in our own rights. This is the perfect birthday card for our little superheroes. I love the confidence of the stance on this stamp. She is just rolling up her sleeves ready to take on what ever is thrown at her

Be Your Own Hero

I have been playing with embellishment mousse, this is mew to me but I am very impresses with the effect and am now experimenting with making my own moouse!

Card Making Tutorial

I masked off a piece of white card diagnoally with the image stamped across the middle and blended it in worn lipstick. Around the internal edge I blended the wilted violet.

Once dry the embellishment moouse was used with the stencil then left to dry

On a seperate piece of white card the sentiment was stamped in versamark ink and embossed in pastel pink

This was then blended with the dostress oxides

The image was coloured with the wow embossing pen on the glasses, pants and stripes from the tights and these were heat embossed

The image was then coloured with alcohol markers

The sentiment was trimmed down and adhered with foam squares

Star sequins were added and the panel was adhered to an A5 card base

Thank you for reading

Happy Crafting.
