Tranquil

Little Fairwee here, is having a sneaky five minute rest and enjoying the wildlife

Mermaid at sunset

Sweet November Stamps have a new release out and while I was waiting for this to arrive I decided to coloured up m mermaids. We were staying in a caravan by the sea when I was doing this one and so it felt fitting that the mermaid was talking to Mr Turtle while the sun was rising. I am totally in love with that sky

Fishes

These little fishes really stole my heart and it was this stamp set that made me determined to learn to colour water scenes

Moonlit Mermaid

This little scene was inspired by some Whimsey Slimline paper that I saw a lady use in a Facebook group and I thought oh I have the perfect mermaid for a backdrop like that. I have changed it a little but the general shape and idea is the same

Turtle

I saw with Turtles in the wild when we got married and as much as I am a bit of a scary cat when it comes to creatures, there is something a little magestic and elegant abput the way they glide through the water

cave

Wow this little mermaid and her fishy friends are very impressed with their little selves today, they have found a pearl in a cavern

Kelly

I have never managed to come up with a scene for this little fairy before, but this misty arch is just perfect adding to the magical illusion

selkie

A freebie from Sweet November Stamps and it really is pushing my comfort here, You may not have noticed but I avoid mermaids like the plaque as I really struggle with under water scenes but it is time to bite the bullet and stop been a baby. So I pulled on my big girls pants and went for it, It didn't actually turn out as totally underwater, but is definitely a sea scene

Mermaid

I totally forgot I had got this stamp free last month until the Sweet November Stamps Newsletter dropped into my inbox and I got his months freebie. I think I felt a little intimidated as I am not very confident with under water scenes but I do love how it turned out

magical gnome

This beautiful gnome is having a lovely stroll through the magical forest while drinking her tea. I sure hope her mug keeps her drink warmer than mine did at my sons football match on Sunday Morning

Be a mermaid

This is Charlie, Sweet November Stamps created Charlie as part of the Self Esteem Blog Hop, Charlie is based on the young lady who inspired the hop.

Mystical Fairies

So anyone that follows me on Instagram may have seen I have signed up  to the Sandy Allnock enchantment class and after following the first class, she encourages to practice and change up the colours, so I thought this pink and purple forest would be perfect for a fairy

Gnina

We have a tired gnome, she has spent the last few hours sewing the seeds for the harvest and has snuck inside to have five minutes peace with a good book away from Mr gnome

Sweet November Release

So I woke up to a message asking if I would like to guest design for Sweet November Stamps. Of course I said yes!!! There are 4 vault releases and 1 new release. I literally could not decide which image to use so made a card for each one. So as not to bore you I will only blog one but will share the photos of the others.

This is the one I am blogging

Bashful bun

So I can not decide if Peter here is in the bad books and trying to win his lady around with a bunch of carrots, or if if he is trying to romance her, either way she is looking rather bashful about the situation. I am sure you would agree

Jumping in puddles

This adorable duck was a freebie with the monthly news letter from Sweet November Stamps and I just had to pair him with the Fair-wee April who is also enjoying the rain.

I thought it paired perfectly with the sentiment from the Undercover plushes from Clearly Besotted

Naughty bunny

I absolutely love the idea and the magic of the Easter bunny, as a kid my dad used to hide clues all around the house and he had to follow them and got a little piece of chocolate at each stop, finishing with a big egg in a place he had previously hid a clue. He has continued this on for his grandchildren and despite lockdown last year was no exception, I got up the day before Easter Sunday to a huge bag of chocolate eggs and clues that I had to hide and a zoom code and time. He had coordinated it so that all grandchildren had the same clues and could work together as a team on zoom. It was right at the beginning of lockdown and this quickly set the president for things to come. He retired right at the beginning of lockdown and so his ideas just keep coming.

This year lockdown is starting to ease and we are allowed 2 households to meet. I came home from work to find my dad scurrying around my garden with a note pad, working out clues and where he can hide everything. This year the hunt will be in my garden and my nephews will be here in person to do it with my children. Unfortunately due to the rule of 2 households the great Easter Grandad will be watching via zoom.

I totally digressed there, in todays card this naughty bunny has broken into the Easter harvest and stolen some eggs!! I hope he knows Santa watches all year round

Gned

So I made the decision that I would not be doing as many videos as they are so time consuming, I currently try to do one every day but planned to cut down to a few a week. Anyone I had already half recorded this adorable gnome before I even realised I was doing it

Besties

Now I have coloured these beauties up I think they are in scrubs. This was not my intention. It was yo be 2 friends putting the world to rights over coffee in a diner. But the colours really make me think these are 2 nurses just finished a long and traumatic night shift and having a debrief over coffee before they attempt to renter civilised life.
