Caffinated Critters

These 3 look like they are straight out of a story book, sat on the log enjoying coffee and donuts putting the world to rights

warm wishes

A nice walk through a mystical woodland for this two. Although they are a winter set they look quite apt in the woods with their warm coats and boots

Summer vibes

Imagine walking through this beautiful walled garden in the warm sunshine, listening to the birds chirping and the bees buzzing.
The perfect happy vibes

Quidditch

So when I first made this card I very nearly did not blog it and was just going to throw it, however I decided that I would use it as a teaching opportunity about angle perception when it comes to creating scenes

tgf neighbours

This card has been created as part of the spring hop for Team Tiny on YouTube, It is a hashtag driven hop so if you do want to hop along your search term is #teamtinyspinghop over on YouTube

Date Night

Its date night, looks a bit posh, do you think tonight might be the night he pops the question? Or is it a first date? Either way he could have popped a shirt on

Vintage Anya

I have had this image coloured up for ages just pinned on my desk waiting fir some inspiration, she was a little experiment actually as I wondered how my markers would fare on the kraft card

Card Making Tutorial

I begun my stamping and colouring Anya on the kraft card. She was coloured using alcohol markers. She was cut using the torn nesting die.

She was layer using cream card and patterned papers. These were mounted together

I used the smaller stamps in the pack with the verasmark ink and heat embossed them with the pink embossing powder.

The background was trimmed using the deckle and blended in speckled egg

The sentiment die was cut using the same papers i used on the nesting die

This was adhered onto an A5 Kraft Card base. The card was finished with ribbon and nuvo drops

Flower Stall

As a kid I loved watching Bedknobs and Broomstick as was amazed and in awe of the market where they are looking for the spell book. This card was inspired by that market, obviously I have brought it up to the 21st century with the imported plants and the travel mug but you get the general inspirational idea

Duck pond

I am one of 4 siblings are they are 15 years between the youngest and myself, the middle 2 are boys and there is quite a big gap of 7 years between the older 2 and younger 2. When we were younger I remember going on holiday and there was a pond just like this one. The oldest of the younger 2 was ahead of us and turned around and started to run screaming, been chased by the mother duck. The little monkey had only stolen one of her chicks he had it in his coat. Will never forget my mothers face!!

Anyway onto todays scene, as these are cute cheeky couple or siblings and the lad is looking cheeky and he knows he is about to shove the sister in? I will leave you with that thought.....

Gardening Girlie

I love the idea of growing my own fruit and veg, we have a plum tree, an apple tree, a pear tree and last year planted a cherry tree, an almond tree and a blueberry bush. However I just can not have a green house, there was an almighty smash the other day and I run out expecting a broken window but thankfully only my solar light was the casualty of the cricket ball. Image a greenhouse. I would be a nervous wreak. Anyway this girlie appears to have very green fingers and is busy working in her greenhouse

Fashion Anya

Our printer had broken, so I have been waiting for my new one to arrive, which meant I have only just got around to using Marchs Digital Release from The Greeting Farm. I love their monthly release as it leans so well to my scene building

Honour Students

I always thought it would be absolutely amazing to attend a prestigious old school, with its fabulous architecture, so you can imagine my exciting when many moons ago I was accepted to The University of Leeds, I was actually gutted to find out that despite the beauty of some of the buildings on the outside they were very modern inside and the windows did not even match up with some of the floors. I remember being in one seminar room and the windows were at my feet. Lets hope these honour students are not disappointed

Karate Grandson

Mum asked me to make a card for Jack for his birthday and being the 3rd one I have made for him I was seriously running out of ideas. So have made a karate scene. We have spent most of lockdown watching Karate Kid films and the new series on netflix Cobra Kai

Lets Have Coffee

A super easy bit of inking today, using the caffeine critters from The Greeting Farm

Shopping Friends

I knew when I saw these three ladies that I wanted to colour them up into a shopping theme I just was not too sure how much detail to put into the background and started a couple of times but felt that it was just way to busy. I finally settled on just a partial shop doorway

How is he 12

So Monday morning I woke up to a 12 year old!! How I have no idea, I think I blinked and his childhood was over. He is mad on computer games, especially the switch, mainly as a result of Covid I fear as this was a way to play with his friends. But we do also play quite alot as a family. He is at quite an awkward age but I do think I nailed his card

Caffeine Critters

A simple colouring/ scene building card today using Caffeine Critters from The Greeting Farm. I wanted them to be sat having a picnic and so decided to put the sentiment in a sign, inspired by a do not walk on the grass sign

Travelling Vibes

I do like these characters from The Greeting Farm and I thought it would be perfect for an outdoor adventure. Today Anya has gone travelling with her friends and has just climbed up a rocky ravine with her cute little bum bag (Fanny Pack in America)

Snowy Day

When issue 211 of Simply Cards & Papercraft landed on my doorstep if contained a stamp set called Alpine Village by Paper Discovery and that jogged my memory about a set of Paper Discovery Stamps I got back in the summer. The Alpine Village contains some of the same stamps from the Travel and Adventure About Town Stamp Set but on a smaller scale.

This would be just perfect for scene building
