No Place Like Home

I am a real home bird, I love nothing more than being at home. So the whole pandemic malarkey has played a little into my hands. Don't get me wrong I am fed up with it all now but it is has also been nice to be forced to slow down a little. I am one of those individuals that did not know how to sit still before all this. I literally charged from one thing to another. The lockdown has taught me to slow down, sit down and even how to colour.

Hello From Home Digital Stamp Set by The Greeting Farm Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers Stitched Rectangle Die Set Sequins

Card Making Tutorial
I edited my home scene and printed this out. 

The scene was die cut with a stitched rectangle die and using a pencil I lightly sketched in my room.



This was coloured with alcohol markers. The panel was adhered onto a card base with double sided tape



Nuvo drops were added to the carpet

The electrical devices and the liquid in the mugs …

Food Truck

Even the monster is fed up with social distancing and has put on his mask to visit civilisation....

The card uses images from the Food truck digital stamp set, while the bushes and picnic table are from the s'more add on set and the lady is from Parklunch all of which are by The Greeting Farm

The images were arranged using Microsoft Word, printed and coloured using alcohol markers
A piece of Kraft card was cut just slightly larger than the image.



A strip of blue and a slightly smaller strip of Kraft were cut. The 2 smaller pieces were adhered together  and glued onto the middle of the larger kraft paper

Girlie Birthday

Another greeting farm scene today. Martha's little friend turns 10 and I think it is a really difficult age, they do not want cute they want to be grown up.So I went for super girlie and I love the outcome

A pink bow and sequins were added 
This was adhered onto an A5 Card base 

And finished with nuvo drops

Perfect Friend

Both children have been ill, they have had to have COVID swabs, thankfully both have come back negative but it has meant I have had to craft in the house while enduring numerous films. I therefore took the opportunity and have been practising with digital stamps creating scenes. Here is my first attempt using scene builders from the greeting farm

Cardmaking Tutorial
I created my scene using word document, printed it and coloured the images.
I created a back drop and die cut the scene with a slimline line.
Using a piece of cream card and the cloud die I cut an small cloud and stamped my sentiment.
The card panel was then glued onto the Slimline card base.
