Schools back

Returning to school Miss Anya. So my kids are both back at school now and I am hoping that they manage to stay open for the whole school year. I of course took the back to school photos, showing a very smart and sensible young man embarking on year 8 and a scruffy little sass bag that is about to cause hell in year 6!!

Lets hope Miss Anya takes after my boy

Sunset Memories

A beautiful late summer sunset for Anya today, she has had a lovely day out and is catching the memories on her mobile which she is protectively clutching to her chest

Noodle Time

This little beauty looks like she is really enjoying those noodles sat in that noodle bar with a city backdrop

Shopping Anya

I love quaint market towns with cobble streets and tried to re create this here, i had created the cobbled road though before I spotted the high heels. Maybe not the best attire

Promonade

Enjoying the last few days of summer, before back to reality on Monday morning

Woodland Visit

A little sit down on a fence while enjoying a stroll. She looks so pretty in her hat and sun dress

Coffee Time

These 2 adorable critters are relaxing on the sofa in the guest room enjoying a coffee and each others company

Fly Away

Holiday season is upon us and Miss Anya is making the most of the green list but with no isolation rules, she is off on her travels. We go away on Friday and I daren't start to get excited in case we get track and traced before then

Summer Apartment

Oh my how wonderful would it be to live in or even rent just for a holiday a building like this with huge glass windows over looking the swimming pool. A perfect summer scene for week 3 of the summer hop over on Instagram

Be a Unicorn

Always be a unicorn, where ever you are, even if you are wondering in the wildnerness

Ten

Well today is the day my youngest baby reaches double figures. So this is for my Harry Potter mad, bunny loving, feisty whirlwind Martha

Feeling Confident

So I am trying to push my comfort zones, you all know I have taken a few Sandy Allnock classes but I will only really learn the techniques if I apply to different situations right???
In the lesson this is a snowy hillside with a mountain cabin, so lets switch that to a grassy mountain with a barn

Caffinated Critters

These 3 look like they are straight out of a story book, sat on the log enjoying coffee and donuts putting the world to rights

warm wishes

A nice walk through a mystical woodland for this two. Although they are a winter set they look quite apt in the woods with their warm coats and boots

Summer vibes

Imagine walking through this beautiful walled garden in the warm sunshine, listening to the birds chirping and the bees buzzing.
The perfect happy vibes

Quidditch

So when I first made this card I very nearly did not blog it and was just going to throw it, however I decided that I would use it as a teaching opportunity about angle perception when it comes to creating scenes

This card has been created as part of the spring hop for Team Tiny on YouTube, It is a hashtag driven hop so if you do want to hop along your search term is #teamtinyspinghop over on YouTube

Date Night

Its date night, looks a bit posh, do you think tonight might be the night he pops the question? Or is it a first date? Either way he could have popped a shirt on

Vintage Anya

I have had this image coloured up for ages just pinned on my desk waiting fir some inspiration, she was a little experiment actually as I wondered how my markers would fare on the kraft card

Card Making Tutorial

I begun my stamping and colouring Anya on the kraft card. She was coloured using alcohol markers. She was cut using the torn nesting die.

She was layer using cream card and patterned papers. These were mounted together

I used the smaller stamps in the pack with the verasmark ink and heat embossed them with the pink embossing powder.

The background was trimmed using the deckle and blended in speckled egg

The sentiment die was cut using the same papers i used on the nesting die

This was adhered onto an A5 Kraft Card base. The card was finished with ribbon and nuvo drops

Flower Stall

As a kid I loved watching Bedknobs and Broomstick as was amazed and in awe of the market where they are looking for the spell book. This card was inspired by that market, obviously I have brought it up to the 21st century with the imported plants and the travel mug but you get the general inspirational idea
