Special Friend

With the festive season most of my energy had been thrown into making Christmas Cards so I feel a lot of my stash was a little unloved.
I stamped and coloured this fun and cheerful scene while I was watching the news unfold of the earthquakes in Croatia and our rapidly escalating virus numbers. I decided at that moment that this card had to be full of vibrant colours as there is enough grief and anxiety in the world at the moment

The Greeting Farm Brew It Anya

This adorable stamp coloured up so beautifully she needed to be the star of her own show

Christmas Chaos

Is anyone else a bit pedantic when it comes to dressing their Christmas Tree?
I separate all my baubles out into piles according to their colour and size before I even start.

I can not decide if this little raccoon is doing the same, or if he is the manager. It could be the rest of the work force have scampered as nobody has been ladder trained and so was not competent to put that star on top without supervision....

Rainbow Smiles

This card started out being blended for a different purpose but I loved it so much I decided to make it a card in it's own right

There is a video on my YouTube Channel Mrs H's Crafty Corner

Card Making Supplies

Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire and Evergreen Bough
Time For Tea Designs Rainbow Shaker Die
Time For Tea Designs Smile Sentiment Die
Star Sequins
Rainbow Clay Slices
Pink Dew Drops by Polkadoodles
Nuvo Drops

Card Making Tutorial

A piece of white card was masked across the bottom and blended in picked raspberry, wilted violet and chipped sapphire. Evergreen Bough was then rubbed around the edges

I used the shaker die by Time For Tea Designs to cut the rainbow in green and silver. Double sided tape was adhered to the back if it to hold the panels in place.

The inked panel was adhered onto a A5 Card Base

The smile sentiment was cut in red and un black and then glued so that the black can be seen as a shadow underneath

The rainbow was adhered to the panel with foam squares

And the smile sentiment glued down

Star sequins were added to the inked part

While pink dew drops were added to the white. Along with some clay slice rainbows

The panel was then finished with Nuvo Drops
