Autumn Thank You

I love these autumn wreaths by Clearly Besotted. I feel that they work so well with the Kraft card

Clearly Besotted Ring Around Autumn Versamark Embossing Ink Wow Embossing Powder in Ebony  Hessian Ribbon Burgundy Card Tiny wooden buttons  Clear drop Kraft card Nuvo Drops in Antique Rose and Mustard Gold
Card Making Tutorial I begun by stamping and colouring the wreath, I then ruddy cut this out, cutting off the intricate parts.
A piece of A5 Kraft card was scored, burnish and folded down the middle.

Onto this I heat embossed the wreath.

The image was then glued over the top. On the left hand side of the wreath are a few small berries that come out of the wreath. I filled these in using Nuvo Drops.

The critter was placed onto the pumpkin using foam squares

A strip of burgundy card was cut and a piece of hessian ribbon glued onto it. On another piece of the burgundy the sentiment was heat embossed. This was trimmed and…

Food Truck

Even the monster is fed up with social distancing and has put on his mask to visit civilisation....

The card uses images from the Food truck digital stamp set, while the bushes and picnic table are from the s'more add on set and the lady is from Parklunch all of which are by The Greeting Farm

The images were arranged using Microsoft Word, printed and coloured using alcohol markers
A piece of Kraft card was cut just slightly larger than the image.

A strip of blue and a slightly smaller strip of Kraft were cut. The 2 smaller pieces were adhered together  and glued onto the middle of the larger kraft paper

Girlie Birthday

Another greeting farm scene today. Martha's little friend turns 10 and I think it is a really difficult age, they do not want cute they want to be grown up.So I went for super girlie and I love the outcome

A pink bow and sequins were added 
This was adhered onto an A5 Card base 

And finished with nuvo drops

The images were stamped coloured and fussy cut A piece of white card was cut with a stitched rectangle nesting die

The card was blended with mowed lawn and the edges with dusty Concord.

The spooky corners were then stamped onto this panel. This was to enable the spiders webs to be seen as I was not confident I could fussy cut them.

The sentiment was heat embossed on black card in white

The images I had cut out were then glued over the top

The sentiment was adhered using foam squares

The panel was then adhered onto a burgundy card base
The card was then finished with a few black sequins

Perfect Friend

Both children have been ill, they have had to have COVID swabs, thankfully both have come back negative but it has meant I have had to craft in the house while enduring numerous films. I therefore took the opportunity and have been practising with digital stamps creating scenes. Here is my first attempt using scene builders from the greeting farm

I created my scene using word document, printed it and coloured the images.
I created a back drop and die cut the scene with a slimline line.
Using a piece of cream card and the cloud die I cut an small cloud and stamped my sentiment.
The card panel was then glued onto the Slimline card base.

The image was printed and coloured then cut with the nesting die.

Lilac card was cut in the next size up nesting die

A piece of patterned paper was cut using the wonky square die and with the grey was glued together in arrangement as below

Buttons were glued in opposite corners and nuvo drops added in the other two.

Handmade Card Unicorn and Coffee

I am loving shaped cards at the moment. They are just a little different. When I purchased the Polkadoodles Sparkle Collection I got the cut files within the bundle. I really want sure I would use them but am loving them with this bashful unicorn

Greeting Card Knitting Mice

I came across the digital stamp for this handmade card, while trying to find some inspiration for my mums 60th birthday card. I still have no idea what I am going to make but have made this in the mean time. Anybody else get like that for an important birthday?

Knitting Mice from Di's Digital Stamps Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers Patterned Paper Pad from Athens Works Green Ribbon Scrap of Green Paper Scrap of Pink Paper A6 Cream Card Base 3 Wooden Buttons  Torn Oval Nesting Die by Gemini 

The Digital stamp was printed, coloured and cut out using a torn circle nesting die The scrap of green paper was cut using the next size up nesting die
These were glued together

The plain pink paper was cut to 4 Inch by 5 3/4 Inch. The patterned paper was cut to 3 3/4 Inch by 5 1/2 Inch 
These were both mounted together onto the card base.

Greeting Card Clean and Simple

I often get so carried away with my ideas that I forget about clean and simple cards and how effective they look.

I applied the rules I learnt about colouring fur in the June class by Kit and Clowder to attempt to make the hedgehog look spikey and I think it worked. I got to use my Speckled egg distress ink for the first time too!!
